The Staff at Talega Day Spa strives to insure that your visit with us will be smooth, relaxing and completely enjoyable. We want your treatment, service, and experience to be unmatched by any other and totally rewarding… So, to insure your expectations are met, we ask that the following guidelines be followed to guarantee you get the most benefit during your time here with us!

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE: Please arrive at least 15 - 30 minutes early especially if this is your first time to allow for check-in and preparation for your unique spa experience. In order to stay on schedule, a late arrival can cut your treatment time short, while the normal fee for service will still apply. So please arrive early!
Stay as long as you wish… Relax and enjoy the spa amenities and Tuscan ambiance before, between, and after your spa treatments. Just allow yourself the extra time to do so.
Please make sure you keep tabs of all your personal belongings during your stay and upon departure. Be sure to check your locker, shower, sauna, robe pockets, treatment and relaxation rooms for all personal items before leaving. Talega Day Spa is not responsible for personal items that are lost, stolen, or damaged.
WHAT TO WEAR: We want you to feel as comfortable as possible throughout your spa experience. For most spa treatments you will be escorted to your locker where you will find a cozy robe and slippers to change into. Our therapists are professionally trained to drape sheets discreetly over areas of the body not involved with the treatment, so leave on or take off as much as you are comfortable with. If you wish, you can bring your own bathing suit for a particular body treatment or hydrotherapy service. Please feel free to ask us any questions if you are unsure, we are here to help you!
SHOWER FIRST: This is good idea for a healthy service and for the most effective use of our unique body and skin care products during treatment. Please allow extra arrival time if you plan to shower first.
SHOULD I SHAVE?: We suggest you do not shave before any of our exfoliating services. However, men should shave two hours prior to experiencing a facial.
COMMUNICATION AND THERAPIST PREFERENCE: estheticians are all professionally trained with extensive experience. Please let us know if you prefer a male or female. Feel free to communicate with your therapist or esthetician your needs and expectations before and/or any time during the treatment. This enables our staff to customize your service for maximum benefit to you.
SILENCE IS OK: We treasure your desire to relax and we respect your need for a quiet atmosphere during your treatment. Please don't feel you have to talk, however, we always welcome your comments and conversation if that is what you wish.
SPA VOICE: Talega Day Spa is a refuge and sanctuary for you and for others. Please turn off or silence all cell phones and speak softly throughout the spa and in the rooms.
DRINK WATER: Water is the key to purifying and enhancing body wellness. Many of our treatments and spa amenities will either result in bodily water-loss or require that we detoxify by cleansing ourselves from within. We encourage you to drink plenty of water before, during, and after all our treatments.
*We have purified water stations positioned throughout the spa for your convenience.
RESERVATIONS: Walk-ins are always welcome! However, to insure you the best service, reservations are strongly recommended. Please have your credit card ready to guarantee the reservation.
CANCELLATIONS: We can all agree that time is our most valuable asset. As a courtesy to you, we will confirm your appointment one day prior to your scheduled treatment.
We maintain a 24 hour cancellation policy for all appointments.
Same-day cancelations are subject to a 50% charge of the intended service.
Regretfully, "no shows" will be charged the full service value.
We appreciate your consideration in honoring our cancellation policy.
RETURNED CHECKS: A $15 service fee is charged for all returned checks.
RETURNS/EXCHANGES: Products returned within 60 days will be honored as store credit with a valid receipt. No refunds are given on prepaid packages or series.
CHILDREN: To insure everyone's enjoyment of the serenity Talega Day Spa has to offer, we ask that children not be brought to the spa. However, some of our services can benefit children. All children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or authorized adult in the treatment room. Children under 18 must have a parent or authorized adult sign their consultation form.
GRATIUTIES: If you liked your treatment please let your therapist or esthetician know. Tips are not included in the price of services. You can just add it to payment when service is complete or leave it in the room for them.
WE STAND BEHIND PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS: Our therapists and estheticians are professionally trained and proud of their work! They are here to promote your health, well-being, and psyche. However, they are authorized to stop any treatment immediately if they sense any inappropriate behavior on the part of a client.
